Tree spading

An economical way to move trees is with a tree spade. Big Trees of California, an affiliated company, has a large spade, a Big John 90”, that can handle sizes up to approximately a 12” trunk diameter, as well as a medium size Big John 65”. In addition, we have tree pod trailers, which greatly cut the cost of longer moves.

Tree boxing

For very large trees or trees which are inaccessible to a tree spade truck, tree boxing is utilized. We have moved thousands of trees this way.
